Phillip Glass is a rose is a rose is a rose. Phillip Glass stands on the porch holding an envelope. He is waiting for Gertrude Stein to launch him into a new modern. A new rose. A new lost generation lost in a stream of sensory input, psychological demands, remembrances, and so on. I am living two lives, Philip; I have two languages, two daughters and two lovers.
